Dear Friend of LifeChronicles,
For 27 years, LifeChronicles has been honored to serve more than 2,000 families—each story a priceless reminder of love, connection, and legacy. Today, we ask for your support so we can continue creating “the Gift That Keeps on Giving” for families who need it most.
Earlier this year, Cristina reached out to us about her husband, Omar, age 44:
“I worked at Hospice of Santa Barbara for years and have known of your services for a long time. I’m very sad to be requesting them now…In July 2024, Omar went to the ER for blood clots, and a CT scan revealed metastatic pancreatic cancer. We have two young daughters…”
LifeChronicles filmed with their family on July 21, 2025 and their video was delivered on August 7th. Shortly after, Cristina wrote again:
“We watched the video in the ER at UCLA while Omar was being admitted. A few days later, we were told there was nothing more that could be done. Omar died peacefully at home on August 12th.
I fall asleep most nights watching this video. Seeing him—his expressions, his smile— and hearing him speak takes me right back to holding his hands.
Thank you for such a beautiful gift. I know it will be treasured by my little family. This is a gift our girls will treasure as they grow.”
Cristina’s words capture everything LifeChronicles stands for: preserving the sight, sound,
presence, and love of a person—long after the camera stops recording.
Your gift today makes this legacy possible. You help families preserve the full presence of their
loved ones: their face, their gestures, their voice, their warmth.
Please give generously so we can continue offering “the Gift That Keeps on Giving”
Thank you for believing in the power of our mission!
With gratitude,
Kate Carter, Founder
